Arkansas football freshman kicker Scott Starzyk lives for big moments

FAYETTEVILLE — The most memorable kick for Scott Starzyk, the Arkansas football team's freshman kicker, wasn't even his own.

Starzyk likes the big moments. He lets the adrenaline rush. He trusts his form from practice. And then, "I just kind of make it happen." That inspirational kick is why.

It was November 2018. The future Razorback was in seventh grade, in attendance for the second round of the state playoffs for The Woodlands High School in Texas. He watched Fabrizio Pinton — nicknamed "Fabi" — drill a 55-yard, game-winning field goal for a 53-50 victory over Round Rock Cedar Ridge.
