FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football signed offensive lineman Carey Clayton, a January enrollee out of Southlake Carroll (Texas) High School, on Thursday.
Schools can sign high school players during the transfer portal window from Jan. 2-16 f they enroll for the spring semester.
Clayton, 6-3 and 290 pounds, is a consensus 3-star recruit in the 2026 class. He picked the Razorbacks over UNLV, Alabama-Birmingham, Arkansas State, Texas El Paso and others.
ESPN rates him the No. 11 center in the nation for his class.
He is the 18th high school recruit to sign with Arkansas for the 2026 class.
