FAYETTEVILLE — The top of Arkansas' batting order has been potent all season, but the Razorbacks have found lightning in the bottom third of the order the past week.
Arkansas used the same lineup for the second consecutive Friday and it proved successful again as the No. 15 Razorbacks beat No. 13 LSU 9-3 in front of 9,288 at Baum Stadium.
The 7, 8 and 9 hitters in Arkansas' lineup - Jared Gates, Eric Cole and Jax Biggers - combined for 6 RBI. After combining to go 6-for-11 with 4 runs scored last Friday at Alabama, the lefty-swinging trio was 6-for-13 with 4 runs scored in the opener against the Tigers.
