The Razorbacks put on another inspiring, yet insufficient performance against the No. 4 Texas A&M Aggies. Last week against Tennessee, it was the offense that couldn't get out of its own way. Tonight, it was the defense.
A&M racked up the kind of gaudy numbers every halfway competent offense has managed against this defense all season. With 497 total yards, the Aggies rushed for 217 and passed for 280. That's no different than any other night. However, it was moments like Texas A&M's fourth-down attempt in the fourth quarter.
With only one yard needed for the first down, Texas A&M's running back, EJ Smith — the son of legendary Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith — ran into the back of his own offensive lineman.
