Arkansas DB Kevin Richardson returns to practice ahead of Belk Bowl

Arkansas defensive back Kevin Richardson is back for the Razorbacks, but only in a limited capacity.

For the first time in three months Saturday, Richardson practiced with the team. He will not, however, be available for Arkansas’ Belk Bowl appearance against Virginia Tech on Dec. 29.

“He actually is practicing right now and getting some work in,” Razorbacks defensive backs coach Paul Rhoads told reporters Saturday. “Non-contact. But he’s in full pads and doing a lot of stuff. It’s fun to have him back out there.”

Richardson, a redshirt junior, began the season as Arkansas’ starting nickelback but tore his pectoral muscle in its opener against Louisiana Tech on Sept.
