When it comes to Arkansas football players entering the transfer portal this offseason, it’s been a trickle rather than a flood thus far.
But Razorbacks’ defensive line room got quite a bit lighter Monday afternoon when defensive tackle Ian Geffrard announced his intention to enter the transfer portal. The 6-foot-5, 387-pounder is coming off a breakout redshirt sophomore campaign in which he started all 12 games.
Part of a three-man rotation along the interior defensive line, Geffrard, Cam Ball and Danny Saili accounted for nearly 90% of Arkansas’ snaps at the position. Not only was he the most effective of the trio, according to Pro Football Focus, but he posted the second-highest grade on the defense at 72.
