FAYETTEVILLE — Trevon Brazile exited the No. 14 Arkansas men’s basketball team’s season opener against Southern to a standing ovation with 8:52 remaining in the game.
It was a well deserved recognition for the fifth-year senior, walking off with a dominant showing. Brazile rested for most of the remainder of the night, with little more needed in the Razorbacks’ 109-77 victory over the Jaguars on Monday at Bud Walton Arena.
Brazile put in a dominant performance, scoring a career-high 25 points while shooting 8 of 14 from the field and adding 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block and 1 steal.
