MEMPHIS — Arkansas basketball guard Boogie Fland has withdrawn from the NBA Draft, according ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.
Fland declared for the draft April 4 but entered the NCAA transfer portal before the April 22 deadline.
Speaking before his One Razorback Roadshow appearance in Memphis, Arkansas coach John Calipari said he had not spoken to Fland or Karter Knox, who also declared for the draft but said he was maintaining his collegiate eligibility.
“That just came out,” Calipari said of the Fland news, “and I did not talk to him.”
Fland could return to the Razorbacks but is allowed to speak and negotiate with other teams.
