NEW YORK — Boogie Fland took the Madison Square Garden floor Tuesday night in front of over 100 loved ones who made the trip over from The Bronx to watch him.
Fland knows the meaning of this place, the presence that comes with playing at 'The World’s Most Famous Arena.' Having grown up in its shadow and most likely a few short months from hearing his name called in June’s NBA Draft, he relished the opportunity.
Fland, the Arkansas men’s basketball team’s 5-star freshman, had been looking forward to the chance of representing the Razorbacks back in his hometown.
