FAYETTEVILLE — Queue the March Madness theme. The wait is nearly over.

The Arkansas men’s basketball team will learn its NCAA Tournament fate at 5 p.m. Sunday during the selection show on CBS.

The Razorbacks (20-13) are expected to hear their name called, getting back to the tournament in coach John Calipari’s first season after last season’s absence, but there are still some minor lingering doubts. BartTorvik gives Arkansas a 96.9% chance of getting into the Big Dance, with the potential for bid-stealers dwindling and the Razorbacks owning several wins over the field.

Arkansas beat Michigan, Lipscomb and Troy in its nonconference slate to go along with its SEC wins, giving it a resume most other teams on the perceived bubble don’t have.
