FAYETTEVILLE — Tennessee coach Rick Barnes entered the day as the active Division I leader in all-time wins, but he's sharing it now.
Arkansas coach John Calipari caught him with the Razorbacks' 86-75 victory over the Volunteers in Saturday's SEC opener for both teams at Bud Walton Arena.
The coaches both have 846 career wins to tie for ninth in the all-time rankings. Calipari actually has 888 on-court wins, but 42 of them were vacated from his days at Massachusetts and Memphis.
“I've had a few more than that ... but that's fine,” Calipari said when asked about the tie at the top.
