FAYETTEVILLE — Darius Acuff is ready for a homecoming.
The Arkansas men’s basketball freshman guard, who is from Detroit and grew up a Michigan fan, has been waiting to play close to home. He will get that chance when the No. 14 Razorbacks travel to East Lansing, Mich., to face No. 22 Michigan State at 6 p.m. Saturday at Breslin Center.
It is a highly anticipated game between ranked opponents and friends coaches John Calipari and Tom Izzo. For Acuff, though, it is an opportunity to play in front of friends and family — “too many” to count, he said.
