EAST LANSING, Mich. — Arkansas men’s basketball forward Trevon Brazile posted an apology to social media Sunday afternoon after a viral incident with a Michigan State fan Saturday night. The No. 14 Razorbacks (1-1) lost 69-66 to the No. 22 Spartans (2-0).
With a few seconds left, Brazile missed the hoop on a three-point attempt that would have tied the game. The Michigan State student section chanted “airball” as the Razorbacks walked off the court. The redshirt senior stretched out a towel behind his head and swung it forward, striking a fan.
“I would like to apologize for my actions in the tunnel as we exited the floor last night,” Brazile wrote.
