Arkansas basketball falls in AP Top 25 after Houston loss

FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas men’s basketball team dropped four spots to No. 18 in the AP Top 25 released Monday. The Razorbacks fell 94-86 to Houston, which remained No. 8, on Saturday in Newark, N.J.

Arkansas has a week off before facing James Madison in its final nonconference game Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. inside Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks begin SEC play against No. 19 Tennessee on Jan. 3 in Fayetteville.

Arizona remained No. 1 after handily beating Abilene Christian and San Diego State. The Wildcats earned 38 first-place votes, while No. 2 Michigan and No.
