FAYETTEVILLE — John Calipari’s towel went flying.
The Arkansas men’s basketball coach threw his rag across the face of his bench in frustration. The Razorbacks were defending a baseline out of bounds play with just under eight minutes remaining in the first half. Winthrop, which plays a fast-paced offense and causes opponents issues with its speed, had already burned a timeout on a previous baseline play.
On this one, though, the Eagles scored with ease. Pharrell Boyogueno marched through the paint unguarded and flushed down an easy bounce pass from Isaiah Wilson.
The play gave Winthrop a three-point lead at the time, and Calipari's towel went airborne.
