For the first time in 2025, the second-ranked Arkansas baseball team will go into a series finale looking to avoid a sweep.
The Razorbacks lost 13-3 in 7 innings at fourth-ranked LSU on Saturday night to give the teams identical 40-11 overall, 17-9 SEC records. The teams are scheduled to play the series finale Sunday at 3 p.m.
LSU right-hander Anthony Eyanson threw 6 shutout innings and struck out 11 to follow his complete game, 14-strikeout performance last week at Texas A&M. Eyanson, a junior right-hander who is ranked the No. 71 prospect for this year’s MLB Draft by Baseball America, allowed 5 hits and 1 walk, and threw 65 of 93 pitches for a strike.
