There is a chance sophomore second baseman Nolan Souza will miss the remainder of the 2025 baseball season, Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said Saturday.
Souza appeared to injure his right shoulder when he slid awkwardly into third base during the Razorbacks’ 13-3 victory at Georgia on Friday. He was tended to by medical personnel on the field for a few minutes and spent the rest of the game with his shoulder iced and arm in a sling.
“It’s a really bad injury,” Van Horn said on the Razorback Sports Network pregame show. “[He’ll] get it X-rayed here on this trip and then have an MRI when we get back.
