Arkansas baseball player arrested for public intoxication

A University of Arkansas baseball player was arrested Sunday morning in connection with public intoxication.

Braydon Ray Webb, an outfielder, was arrested just after 2:16 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Dickson Street and West Avenue, according to an arrest report from the Fayetteville Police Department.

According to the report, Webb cut in line at a hot dog stand that is located at the intersection. Webb was refused service by the hot dog stand worker, Cody Yancey, and he became upset, according to the report. Police said Webb then pushed a table toward Yancey, and grabbed his mobile credit card reader and slammed it to the ground, which caused it to break.
