FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas left-handed pitcher Parker Coil will return to the Razorbacks for the 2026 season, he announced Monday.
Coil, who will be a senior next year, was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 16th round of the MLB Draft on July 14. The deadline for teams to sign their draft picks was Monday afternoon.
Coil was arguably Arkansas’ best relief pitcher and most efficient strike-thrower during a junior season that was interrupted by a back injury. He recorded a 1.27 ERA and 1.13 WHIP, and had 24 strikeouts with 2 walks in 21 1/3 innings.
