FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is the first college baseball team to 40 wins in 2025.
The fifth-ranked Razorbacks slugged their way to a 13-8 victory over top-ranked Texas on Saturday in front of an announced attendance of 11,031 at Baum-Walker Stadium.
Arkansas (40-9, 17-7 SEC) swept the series and pulled to within 2 games of the Longhorns (38-8, 19-5) in the league standings with 6 games to play.
The Razorbacks swept a team ranked No. 1 nationally for the first time since 2001 against LSU in Fayetteville. Arkansas also won its first SEC series since a sweep of Missouri on April 5-6.
