FAYETTEVILLE — Seven Arkansas baseball players and multiple others with ties to the program were selected Monday on the final day of the MLB Draft.
Pitchers Christian Foutch (Boston Red Sox, 5th round), Aiden Jimenez (Kansas City Royals, 5th), Landon Beidelschies (Atlanta Braves, 6th), Ben Bybee (San Francisco Giants, 8th) and Parker Coil (Milwaukee Brewers, 16th) were drafted, as were third baseman Brent Iredale (Pittsburgh Pirates, 7th) and outfielder Justin Thomas (Houston Astros, 11th).
The Razorbacks had 11 players taken during the 20-round draft, which tied the program’s single-year record set previously in 2013 and 2018 when the draft was 40 rounds.
