Not even three weeks into the coaching search, it feels like every name under the sun has been mentioned — by someone, somewhere — as a possibility for Arkansas football.
Sure, there are clear favorites and popular dark horse candidates. But a handful of names have popped up here and there seemingly out of nowhere.
Earlier this month, HawgBeat reported that Missouri offensive coordinator Kirby Moore interviewed with Arkansas brass. The claim has been passionately refuted by the Tigers’ head coach, Eliah Drinkwitz, but it did prompt another surprising suggestion by a Razorback legend.
If it was up to former Arkansas quarterback Matt Jones, he’d target a different young coordinator in the SEC.
