In the best of all possible worlds, Arkansas football was supposed to be in the hands of Madden Iamaleava by November 2026.
The talented Los Angeles native had been hand-picked by Bobby Petrino 13 months ago in what at the time seemed like a coup for the Razorbacks.
At the 11th hour, Arkansas’ former offensive coordinator managed to wrestle Iamaleava’s signature away from the hometown UCLA Bruins, who’d been the favorite to sign the 6-foot-4 blue-chip gunslinger who couldn’t seem to make up his mind about which high school he wanted to represent.
Over the first few months of 2025, Iamaleva largely delivered on his potential during practice.
