Consensus 4-star sophomore defensive end Williams Nwaneri’s meeting with Razorbacks coach Sam Pittman highlighted his visit to Arkansas on Thursday.
Nwaneri, 6-5, 250 pounds, of Lee’s Summit, (Mo.) North, visited the Razorbacks with his teammate and freshman receiver Isaiah Mozee.
“I had a great time on my visit,” Nwaneri said. “The coaching staff was great and I enjoyed touring the facilities.”
He has offers from Arkansas, Michigan, Oregon, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and other programs. He recorded 43 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, 11 quarterback hurries and 1 pass deflection last year.
Nwaneri and Mozee, who has more than 10 offers, including one from Arkansas, spent time in Pittman’s office, which impressed both.
