Consensus 2026 3-star safety Adam Auston has reopened his recruiting on Tuesday after the firing of Arkansas football coach Sam Pittman and three defensive assistants.
Pittman was fired Sunday after the Razorbacks' 56-13 loss to Notre Dame on Saturday. Offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino was named interim head coach and is a candidate for the full-time job.
Arkansas fired defensive coordinator Travis Williams, co-defensive coordinator Marcus Woodson and defensive line coach Deke Adams on Monday.
Woodson was Auston's lead recruiter.
Auston, 6-2 and 212 pounds, of Lawton (Okla.) MacArthur, chose the Razorbacks over Missouri, Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Kansas State on Aug.
