FAYETTEVILLE — Linebacker Caleb Gordon has committed to Arkansas after his official visit to Fayetteville last weekend.
Defensive coordinator Travis Williams headed up Gordon's recruitment. The visit and time spent with Arkansas coach Sam Pittman led to his pledge.
“The visit was great, I loved everything about it,” Gordon said. “From the time I got here till the time I left, great coaches, great staff. Coach Pittman, Coach T-Will, I love everything he does here at Arkansas. Definitely looking forward to coming back.”
Gordon, 6-0 and 217 pounds, of Gastonia (N.C.) Ashbrook, chose the Razorbacks over scholarship offers from Virginia, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, West Virginia and others.
