ATLANTA — The Ole Miss football program is riding high with back-to-back seasons of 10-plus wins under colorful sixth-year Coach Lane Kiffin.
However, a third consecutive double-digit-win campaign will take a lot of factors falling into place.
The Rebels lost 18 starters, nine apiece on offense and defense, including eight NFL Draft picks — a school record in the seven-round era — and some of the most decorated players in school history. Among the losses were consensus All-American defensive tackle Walter Nolen and record-breaking quarterback Jaxson Dart, both first-round draft selections.
Kiffin spent a bit of time at SEC media days on Monday touting his team’s accomplishments, headlined by an 11-2 record in 2023 and a 10-3 mark last year, giving Ole Miss consecutive 10-win seasons for the first time since 1959-60.
