FAYETTEVILLE — A pair of Arkansas baseball players are on the preseason watch list for the Golden Spikes Award.
Junior second baseman Robert Moore and sophomore third baseman Cayden Wallace are among 55 players on the watch list. The Razorbacks are one of eight programs with multiple players on the list.
The Golden Spikes Award goes to the best amateur player in the nation and the watch list includes high school and junior college players.
Former Arkansas pitcher Kevin Kopps won the award last year. Kopps was not on the preseason or the mid-season watch lists for the award in 2021.
