FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas pitchers Hagen Smith and Brady Tygart were named Freshman All-Americans on Wednesday by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
Their selections gave the Razorbacks a Freshman All-America selection for the sixth consecutive season. Arkansas has had 26 freshmen earn All-America honors since 1984.
Smith, a left hander, was a starting pitcher for the most of the season and Tygart, a right hander, has served as the Razorbacks’ primary closer.
