PALM DESERT, Calif - Junior Justin Warren posted a 1-under 71 over the opening 18 holes, leading Little Rock to a 7-over 295 after round one of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. The 295 has the Trojans tied for 13th overall among the 23-team field.

Warren's 71 marks his team-best seventh round of par-or-better this season, one shy of his career-best 70. Beginning on hole 10, Warren bogeyed 14 before registering birdies on both 18 and one, finishing with eight-straight pars to close out the round and giving him 15 on the day, tied for the most among the 135-player field.
