BATON ROUGE -- The underdogs were back at it Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional.
A day after being shut out by host LSU on Friday night, UALR regained the form it found last week during the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament as it stayed alive with a 22-10 win over Rhode Island in an NCAA elimination game.
Sporting a record under .500 and seeded fourth, the Trojans were not expected to be playing on the third day of the regional. After Saturday's win, the program's first in NCAA Tournament play, UALR (25-33) will play at 2 p.
