In its first outing following a 10-day layoff, Arkansas-Little Rock came through with a statement win by knocking off Tennessee Tech 51-44 on Thursday afternoon at the Jack Stephens Center in Little Rock.
A participant in last season's NCAA Women's Tournament, the Golden Eagles entered with just two losses on the season and riding a 20-game winning streak in Ohio Valley Conference games dating back to Jan. 19, 2025.
"I told the girls, that tells you a little bit," UALR Coach Steve Wiedower said. "It's just another conference win, but it definitely tells them that, 'You beat the team that has won (20) conference games in a row, so that ought to tell you where you can be in this conference.
