Trojans Shut Down UCA in 62-38 Rout

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – For 10 minutes, Central Arkansas went shot-for-shot with Little Rock. For the next 30 minutes, they struggled to get shots against the defensive-minded Trojans.

Little Rock (5-4) kept the visiting Sugar Bears (3-4) in single digits in each of the final three quarters and limited Central Arkansas to just 6 of 22 shooting (27%) during that stretch in a 62-38 shutdown in the most recent installment of the Governor's I-40 Showdown between the two teams.

The Trojan defense was so suffocating that UCA only made six field goals in the final three quarters after making six field goals in the first 10 minutes.
