LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — After an extended break following their home meet two weeks ago, the Little Rock Track and Field teams begin the home stretch toward the conference championships with competitors in Des Moines, Iowa, and Jonesboro, Ark. this weekend. The Trojans will have a pair of athletes running distance events at the Drake Relays on Thursday, while the rest head to Arkansas State for the Alumni Classic on Friday and Saturday.

On Thursday, Shane Fisher and Jordan Smith will hit the track at Drake Stadium as Fisher competes in the 1500 meters at approximately 5:10 pm, while Smith races in the 5000 meters at 7:52 pm.
