LITTLE ROCK- The Little Rock baseball team was picked to finish third in the Sun Belt Conference West Division according to the coaches' preseason poll, announced Wednesday morning by league officials.
The Trojans received 48 points, just seven points behind second-place Texas State who received 55 points. Louisiana was picked to win the western division for the third consecutive season, receiving 71 points. UT Arlington finished 12 points behind Little Rock for fourth place, while Arkansas State and ULM would be picked to finish fifth and sixth respectively.
The Sun Belt has been split into two divisions, east and west, for three consecutive seasons.
