Trojans get within 1 win of OVC title

After being the last team to qualify for the Ohio Valley Tournament despite losing 13 out of its last 14 games to close the regular season, the Arkansas-Little Rock baseball team is now just one win away from making its first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2011.

The eighth-seeded Trojans' run in the conference tournament continued on Friday as they won for the fourth time in the last three days with a 4-1 triumph over sixth-seeded Lindenwood at Mountain Dew Park in Marion, Ill.

Sherwood native Brody Bunting hurled 121 pitches for UALR, striking out 6 and allowing just 1 run on 5 hits in 7 innings.
