LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock raced out to a commanding 13-point lead early in the first half on rival Arkansas State, but hot shooting from beyond the arc the rival Red Wolves led the way to a 70-62 victory at the Jack Stephens Center Saturday afternoon.
Little Rock falls to 5-15 on the season and 2-5 in Sun Belt Conference play as Arkansas State improves to 7-13 overall and 2-5 in league play.
Three-point shooting was the story of the afternoon as Arkansas State knocked down 13-of-23 three-point shots, compared to just 5-of 17 for Little Rock.
