Trojans Fall to UAPB in Low-Scoring Contest

LITTLE ROCK – A low-scoring contest saw Little Rock baseball take a 2-1 loss to UAPB on Tuesday night at Gary Hogan Field.

Dalton Thomas led Little Rock (10-19) offensively with a 2 for 4 night. Nik Gifford drove in the Trojans' lone run as he went 1 for 3 with an RBI. Zach Baker also went 1 for 3 with a run.

Little Rock was held to just four hits for the night while UAPB (8-19) tallied seven.

"I'd first like to compliment the job Carlos James does at UAPB," head coach Chris Curry said.
