MOBILE, Ala.- Little Rock couldn't quite mount the late comeback in game three of their series with South Alabama, falling 9-8 on Sunday afternoon.
Three Trojans notched two-hit days. Riley Pittman went 2-for-4 with a double, Troy Alexander was 2-for-5 with a home run and Nick Perez was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Ryan Benavidez also homered late in the contest.
After a scoreless first inning, the Trojans got to work in a big four-run second inning to take their first lead of the series. Pittman started the rally with a base hit up the middle.
