LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the 15th time in program history, Little Rock Volleyball has earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Team Academic Award, the organization announced Tuesday.
The award, bestowed for the team's academic achievements during the 2019-20 academic year, marks the 10th time in 11 seasons the Trojans have claimed the award. Little Rock first earned the team honor for the 1997-98 academic year.
Little Rock is one of 227 volleyball programs in the nation to receive the team academic award and one of only two in the state of Arkansas alongside Governor's I-40 Showdown rival Central Arkansas.
