LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the 14th time in program history, Little Rock Volleyball has earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Team Academic Award the organization announced.
The award, bestowed for the team's academic achievements during the 2018-19 academic year, marks the ninth time in 10 seasons the Trojans have claimed the award. Little Rock first earned the team honor for the 1997-98 academic year.
Little Rock is one of 189 volleyball programs in the nation to receive the team academic award and one of five Sun Belt programs to get recognized along with Appalachian State, Georgia State, Troy and ULM.
