Trojans Drop Rubber Game to App State

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – hit his second home run of the season – a three-run shot in the first inning – but Little Rock's bullpen couldn't stop App State from putting up crooked numbers late in the game in a 10-5 loss to the Mountaineers at Gary Hogan Field on Sunday.

Williams hit his home run over the left field wall just two batters after put the Trojans on the board with a sac fly. But that would be the extent of the Trojans' offense, with the exception of scoring an unearned run in the ninth, for the remainder of the game.
