Expectations are high for the Arkansas-Little Rock men's basketball team entering the 2025-26 season. After compiling a talent-filled roster in the spring, Coach Darrell Walker held an open practice Wednesday at the Jack Stephens Center on campus in Little Rock.
With a combination of returning veterans, along with several transfers and incoming freshmen, UALR seems to have corrected for depth issues that arose last season because of injuries. Walker sent out six- or seven-man lineups many times in 2024-25.
"I'm excited about the year coming up," Walker said. "If we can just stay healthy. That's always the key is staying healthy.
