MOREHEAD, Ky. – Little Rock faltered against Morehead State as the Eagles were able to sneak two goals past the Trojan defense in a 2-0 loss for the Maroon and Silver at the MSU Soccer Field today.
With the loss Little Rock (5-5-2, OVC 2-2-0) falls back to the .500 mark on the season and in conference play. Morehead State (6-4-2, OVC 3-0-1) remains undefeated in Ohio Valley competition.
Colleen Swift scored both Eagle goals of the match with scores in the seventh and 74 minutes.
The Trojans held the advantage in both shots (14 to 9) and corner kicks (7 to 2) during the game but were unable to capitalize on offensive opportunities.
