Trojans Break Two More Records on Day 3

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Two more school records fell for Little Rock swimming and diving in day three of the Missouri Valley Conference Championship at the University of Iowa Recreation and Wellness Center on Friday.

The first record to fall was in the 100-yard backstroke preliminaries as Laura Ruiz Astorga placed fifth going into the finals with a time of 55.87. Her time was .34 seconds faster than her own time set at last year's MVC Championship. Ruiz Astorga would finish fifth in the A-Final with a time of 56.23.

Tori Fryar was next up to break a record in the 200-yard freestyle as she finished the fourth in the A-final with a time of 1:50.
