Trojan Men Take Fourth at Jaguar Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Little Rock men's track and field team had seven scoring efforts, six new additions to the team's top-10 historical records on their way to a fourth-place showing at the Jaguar Invitational at the Birmingham Crossplex on Sunday.

The Trojans scored 43.5 points as a team to finish in fourth in the field of 16 teams.

Dez Mapps and Michael McGruder qualified for the finals of the 60-meter dash by finishing fourth and fifth in the prelims, crossing the finish line in 6.83 and 6.85 seconds. Those immediately became the new fourth- and fifth-best times in program history.
