LITTLE ROCK - Five ranked wins. 16 ranked opponents. Only two losses on his challenging resume to non-ranked foes. Triston Wills spent the entire season matching up against the some best of the best. His efforts led to two appearances in the esteemed NCAA Coaches Poll: #30 in the second rankings on February 11 and #32 in the final rankings on March 9.
The coaches ranking is one of several criteria that is evaluated by the NCAA Division I Wrestling Committee during the at-large selection and seeding process along with head-to-head competition, quality wins, Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), conference tournament placement, results versus common opponents and win percentage.
