MOBILE, Ala. - Sophomore Sydney Scraba posted a 1-over 73 in the first round of the 2019-20 season, pacing the Trojans in the opening round of the USA Intercollegiate. Scraba's 73 led the Trojans to an 11-over 299 after 18 holes, sitting 12th among the 16-team field.

Scraba opened the first round of the season with a 2-over 38 through the front nine before carding a 1-under 35 over the back nine, including birdies on holes 11 and 13. She is currently tied for 25th in the individual standings, one shot better than senior Thea Wakeford-Wesmann, who posted a new career-low with a 2-over 74.
