EL DORADO, Ark. – Logan Pate sits second among the 60-player field as Little Rock is third following the opening day of competition at the Sun Belt Championship at Mystic Creek Golf Club. Little Rock shot a 10-over 298 over the opening 18 holes, sitting five shots off the team lead.

Pate was solid through the first round at Mystic Creek, recovering from a double bogey on hole one to shoot 3-under over the final 17 holes, finishing with a 1-under 71 in round one.
