FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A small group from Little Rock got in one final opportunity to compete before heading to the conference championships, hitting the track at the Arkansas Twilight on Friday night. The Trojans head to Cape Girardeau, Mo. next week for the Ohio Valley Championships from May 15-17.
On Friday, Takia Palmer set a new school record in the 200 meters, the women's 4x400 relay team won a bronze medal, and five others competed against a long list of schools at John McDonnell Field on the campus of the University of Arkansas.
The relay team of Zoa Adams, Palmer, Jasmine Torres, and Aaliyah Booker clocked a 3:46.
